XP Adventure: Featuring Dante From The Devil May Cry Series

I recently participated in Ace Jam 2025, a game jam centered around creating games with asexual characters. Below is what I created — a narrative-driven text adventure with 3 short real-time boss fights within. But before you get too excited, I have a confession to make: this game has absolutely nothing to do with Dante from the Devil May Cry series. He doesn't even feature in it. Sorry to burst your bubble.

In my sophomore year of college, I worked for the University of Rochester Admissions Blog, making monthly posts targeted at prospective students. You can read those posts here.

Campus Times

As a frequent contributor to the Humor section, my Campus Times career has been rather illustrious. My most famous work is undoubtedly the saga of Geedis (featured below), but I did a bunch of other cool stuff too. Check it out here or on the sidebar.

The Saga of Geedis

Destined, perhaps, to be my magnum opus from my time at the University of Rochester, the saga of Geedis began mostly as an excuse to publish fanfiction in the Campus Times by disguising it as humor. Apparently people enjoyed this.

(If you don't know who Geedis is, by the way, well, maybe you have to educate yourself.)

You can check out my Geedis stories in full below.

Help, Geedis is leaking again

A bear-like creature, Geedis, stares at his reflection in a puddle beside the University of Rochester's mascot, Rocky.

The chance discovery of a vintage pin leads to nightmarish results.

Geedis returns, seeking revenge as we return to the Land of Ta.

Geedis 3: Need for Geed

A bear-like creature, Geedis, stands ominously over a person lying awake in bed, declaring "I AM WAITING." Credit to Mary Jerred of the Campus Times, along with yours truly.

The nefarious connection between Geedis and the University of Rochester is revealed in the finale to the Geedis saga.
